Your health information
Your GP practice collects and holds information about patients so that they can provide better health care and develop better health care services.
When your doctor collects and keeps your information, they follow the principles and values set out in the NHS Constitution and they only use it for your benefit. We want patients to understand:
- how GPs use your information
- how GPs share your information
- when you can choose to opt out of collecting or sharing your information and how you can find out what opting out would mean for you
