Lambeth CCG rated as good by NHS England and NHS Improvement

We are delighted to share with you the news that NHS Lambeth CCG has been rated as good in the NHS England annual assurance process.

Few CCGs in London have achieved this rating due to the challenging circumstances the NHS currently faces, but with the support of our staff, our membership and our partners we have made significant achievements over the past year.  We are one of 13 CCGs that are rated good in London, and one of only two in south London.

The CCG has been commended for being well led, having good financial management, our robust approach to planning and our contracting and service developments across the health and social care economy.  Our work to engage with patients and local people and Continuing Healthcare has been highlighted with some elements described as 'outstanding'.  NHS England and NHS Improvement also praised our work on improving access to talking therapies and support for people with dementia.

We are delighted to have been given this assurance but we also know that we could not have done this without the involvement and support of our membership, staff and partners.

We agree wholeheartedly with NHS England who have told us: "We know you have the capacity and capability to deliver for your patients and have confidence you will continue to strive to improve."
