Information that has been held previously by NHS Bexley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), NHS Bromley CCG, NHS Greenwich CCG, NHS Lambeth CCG, NHS Lewisham CCG and NHS Southwark CCG is transferring to the new CCG, NHS South East London CCG on 1st April 2020. ​Junior doctors industrial action

The BMA has confirmed that its junior doctor members will take industrial action for 48 hours starting on 9 March and two additional periods. Over each of these 48-hour periods, junior doctors will offer emergency care only:

  • 8am on Wednesday 9 March to 8am on Friday 11 March
  • 8am on Wednesday 6 April to 8am on Friday 8 April
  • 8am on Tuesday 26 April to 8am on Thursday 28 April

Patients with a planned operation, procedure or outpatient appointment booked for tomorrow are being advised that if it needs to be rescheduled the hospital will contact them.

In Lambeth we have been liaising with our hospital trusts to determine the likely impact of the industrial action locally and to ensure the quality and safety of care is protected.
