Exciting opportunity to join Lambeth CCG as an Associate Lay Member
NHS Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Lay Member to play an important part in the development of the CCG.
The CCG is a membership organisation made up of 47 Lambeth GP practices. We commission healthcare for people who are registered, live or work in the borough. We are responsible for spending £429m each year on hospital and community-health services for our patients in a way that ensures the most effective services available to them.
You will support the existing Lay Members who are responsible for bringing strategic insight and impartiality to the Governing Body. This includes overseeing key elements of governance, including audit, remuneration and conflicts of interest. You will have the skills, knowledge and expertise to understand aspects of CCG governance, including financial and risk management. You will also act as Vice Chair of the Audit Committee.
The time commitment is 3-4 days per month and the remuneration is circa £13,000 per annum. The post holder needs to be available during the day with some time commitment being required in the evenings.
If you would like an informal discussion to find out if this role is right for you, please contact Adrian McLachlan. For information on the selection process download the information pack or contact Tania Lewys-Lloyd
