Population Health Improvement Fellows 2016/2017

In September 2015 NHS Lambeth and Southwark CCGs, with the support of Health Education South London (HESL) and Kings College London (KCL), recruited six newly qualified GPs to Lambeth and Southwark to participate in an innovative scheme to create a cohort of Population Health Improvement Fellows across both boroughs, and attract enthusiastic, talented young doctors to the area.

We are now entering the second year of the scheme and would now like to invite expressions of interest from Lambeth practices to host our three Lambeth fellows.
This scheme will combine three 3-hour sessions of clinical work in a GP practice with time in the CCG completing commissioning projects and one day a week studying for the second year of a Master’s in Public Health (Primary Care). The scheme is fully funded by the CCG with the expectation that the successful practices will free up time to contribute to the development of Local Care Networks in Lambeth.
Please complete a short Expression of Interest form and return to Una Dalton, Director of Governance and Development at the CCG by Friday 30 September 2016.
Should you have any queries about the scheme, please do not hesitate to contact me.
