Planning NHS services in Lambeth
We are responsible for planning, monitoring and paying for most of the health services you will receive as an NHS patient in Lambeth. Find out more about how we do this in the About Lambeth CCG section.
Improving health and wellbeing and health services in Lambeth
There are some services that we think we can improve. We do this by listening to doctors and nurses and other clinical staff and talking to local people about their experiences of the care they receive. It is our role to work with the providers of services we identify to have issues with quality of care and patient experience to ensure improvements are made. Find out about the service providers in Lambeth on the Working in partnership page and how we manage quality standards on our Quality page.
At the beginning of the year we decide our health goals and our vision for the year ahead. This year we have also made an overarching plan for the next five years. Our goals and vision are based on what local people have told us and also an assessment of the health needs of the Lambeth population.
Once we decide our goals we then look at how we can develop services to achieve improvements. The different services we are looking at (our programmes) and our current plans are on the left hand side of the page. You can also read about our past plans and work in the respective service area sections in our annual report.
We also have an operating plan which sets out our local response to national priorities and responsibilities and brings together all our plans for improvement in one place.
