Lambeth Mental Health Futures Workshops - 7th and 15th December

There has been significant progress in reshaping mental health provision in Lambeth. This has been driven by the Lambeth Living Well Collaborative and via Alliance provider arrangements put in place over the past few years. We want to build on this because there are still enormous challenges to address and considerable opportunities to improve outcomes for people.

We want people in Lambeth to have a fully integrated and coordinated mental health system that is focused on people's strengths and supports their whole health and wellbeing. To do this, NHS Lambeth CCG and Lambeth Council are considering the award of a longer term Alliance contract. This would enable providers, working alongside people who use services and local communities, to design and deliver services and support that are fit for the future.

In November and December, we are holding a series of events to explore the possibilities for change in the way that mental health is supported in Lambeth over the next 5-10 years. This will help us to develop and refine our proposals for the future Alliance contract. Each event will focus on a different area of opportunity and will include networking, inspiring speakers, story-telling and idea sharing.

It is important that a wide range of people from communities and services across Lambeth contribute to our vision for mental health support of the future. So if you have a particular interest in any of the event themes, we want you to attend!

Please have a look at the invitation and if you have any questions contact Natalie Sutherland.
