Winner: Christopher Shoulder, [Centre] Peer Recovery Officer, Psychological Interventions Clinic for
outpatients with Pyschosis, South London and the Maudsley, NHS Foundation Trust
Christopher provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Family Interventions to people with psychosis and bipolar disorder.
Christopher is described as working tirelessly to ensure patients access therapy and working over and above his duties to ensure the service functions the best way.
Christopher is always open and honest with colleagues, service users and carers, and is people-centred. He works with people to promote prevention and recovery, enabling people to manage their long-term conditions and health more easily.
A colleague said "He has transformed many service users' experience of mental health services including the lives of PICuP's Peer Supporters."
