Equalities in health in Lambeth
NHS Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group plans and pays for most health services for Lambeth people. We want to promote equality and get rid of discrimination in health and health services. We want people have fair access to services on the basis of health needs.
We are setting ourselves goals to improve equalities in all our main programmes of work: adults, children, primary care, metal health and staying healthy.
We are holding an event on 23 April to share with Lambeth people our draft equalities objectives from 2015. Patients, carers, patient groups, voluntary and community organisations, local residents and stakeholders are all welcome. Please sign up or help us spread the word among your networks and members.
Come and hear about our plans to improve equalities in health. Give us your views on how we can monitor progress. Help us to plan services that work for people in relation to age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, religion or belief, pregnancy or maternity status.
The meeting takes place:
Date: Thursday 23 April
Time: 10am to 12 noon
Venue: At Bolney Meadow Community Centre, 31 Bolney St, London, SW8 1EZ
Sign up for the event
We look forward to seeing you on 23 April.
